Orbis Wines makes some of the best wine in McLaren Vale, grown on a regenerative vineyard with sustainability built into how they farm, not just how they market. The trouble was it wasn't as known as it should have been, and fewer still were making the drive out to the cellar door.

Orbis had a genuine sustainability story, but the word alone doesn't cut through anymore. Every wine brand claims to be sustainable now, so often that it's stopped meaning anything to someone standing in a bottle shop trying to choose. Orbis actually does the work: Babydoll sheep graze the vineyard year-round instead of herbicides or mechanical weeding, and their path to net zero is mapped out year by year. None of that comes through if the only word on the label is "sustainable." We worked with Orbis over six months. We started with the website, turning it into an e-commerce-driven home for the brand, complete with a wine club and mailing list. From there we built out the content: EDMs and on-site copy leaning on the specific, slightly unusual details that make Orbis different. The EDMs told a story first and sold a bottle second, and the website carried that same logic through. Six months in, the site, the wine club and the story behind the label are doing their job: giving Orbis a home online that matches what they've built in the vineyard. One of McLaren Vale's best, now a little easier to find.
