Kate Russell helps leaders and organisations turn conflict into connection. She's passionate, kind, and wonderfully quirky, and she brings warmth to conversations that aren't always easy to have. Her promise: to question with curiosity, listen with empathy, and answer with kindly forthrightness.

Her old identity didn't say any of that. It could have belonged to anyone, so she asked us to build something that actually looked and sounded like her.

We started with conversation itself, that's Kate's world, and you can see it in the logo. Her tagline, "Now, you're talking," is built into the visual identity, and that idea spills into everything else.

Circles and rounded forms run through the identity. No hierarchy, no sharp edges, every point equal: exactly how Kate treats a room, whatever the title.

That thinking shaped the characters too. Built around emotions and D.I.S.C. behavioural styles rather than any specific person, nobody's reduced to a stereotype and nobody's singled out, which matters when Kate's whole job is making people feel safe enough to be honest. She'll always land in situations nobody could have designed for ahead of time, so we gave her a modular library instead of a fixed set: bodies, faces, expressions and limbs she can mix and match herself, swapping in a frustrated posture here or a curious expression there, so there's always a character that actually fits the room she's in.

The colour palette works the same way: a range Kate can pull from for whatever the moment calls for, energy, calm, fun, loud, with orange at the centre of it, a familiar touch.

The result is an identity that finally sounds like her.

Now, you're talking.
