Mindel Design Studio

Studio

In London in 1968, my grandfather, Brian Mindel, founded Mindel Films Ltd. What began as a small production company grew to become internationally recognised for its industry-defining commercials, combining clever ideas, humour and a fondness for the absurd. His work earned seven Cannes Lions and helped shape a particularly inventive period in British advertising.

Today, Mindel is a design studio. We work across strategy, identity and digital, and while the work is different, much of the thinking remains the same. We’re interested in how businesses work, how people think and the role creativity plays in bringing the two together.

We’re less interested in selling a particular service than figuring out what a client actually needs. Sometimes the answer is obvious. Often it isn’t. We spend time getting to know the people, understanding the challenges they’re facing and exploring what’s possible before working out the best way forward.

Mindel is deliberately small. We work closely with our clients and bring in talented people with different skills and perspectives when we need to. We enjoy collaborating and the ideas that come from it. More than anything, we want to build relationships that last beyond a single project and see the people we work with succeed.
